Dark Lotus

Psychopathic Records supergroup. The original lineup consisted of Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, Monoxide, Jamie Madrox, Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Marz. Their first album "Tales From The Lotus Pod" was released, but soon after that Marz was dropped from the group as well as the label. He was replaced by Anybody Killa not only in the group but on the album which was re-released with ABK's verses instead of Marz'. After their second release "Black Rain", Anybody Killa briefly left Psychopathic and was also kicked out of the group. Dark Lotus went on to release albums with just the five remaining members until Monoxide, Madrox & Blaze left Psychopathic to start up Psychopathic Records. The group is now officially defunct as J and 2 Dope has publicly stated they will no longer be working with any artist signed to MNE.
