    Founder of the Nashville Brass in the late 60s.

    Born: May 29, 1925 in Dorchester, Massachusetts
    Died: June 12, 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee

    During the 1940's & 1950's he worked mainly as a trumpeter and vocalist. In the late 1950's to the middle of the 1960's he worked as a producer for the MGM label. Then changed to RCA. Worked with artists like Nina Simone, Connie Francis, Herman's Hermits, Floyd Cramer, Dottie West and others.
