In 2013 he founded the 'wine fanzine', Noble Rot. He has also performed as Bubble Club and with Critical Phase and Beetlejuice (with Chris Martin). In the mid-1990s he was based in Manchester and contributed to the dance music magazine, Jockey Slut.
