    Brazilian singer, born in São Gabriel, Rio Grande de Sul, 1945. Started her career in Porto Alegre where she replaced Elis Regina at one of the citys most popular venues. In the middle of the 60's she moved to Rio de Janeiro were she became a famous singer and participated a lot in TV-shows. Her first performances in Europe was together with Alcione in Italy. Then she became the lead singer of Brazil Tropical 1973. She moved to Sweden in the middle of the 80's were she died 2004. She is buried at Skogskyrkogården in Stockholm.
