She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on February 18th 1950 & named after her grandfather Cy and her father Bill. In 1966 she won the "Miss Teenage Memphis" contest and in 1968 the "Model of the Year" contest, thus making her a fashion star of the late 1960's. In 1970 she started acting & starred in several movies, amongst them The Last Picture Show (1971), The Heartbreak Kid (1972), Taxi Driver (1976), The Lady Vanishes (1979). In the 1980's & 90's and into early 2000's she starred in various TV shows (including Moonlighting), soaps and her own sitcom, called Cybill. Her film and TV work earned her several Emmy nominations and Golden Globe awards. She was also featured in 1972 on the front of this box set Remember (Down Memory Lane With 110 Songs From The Best Years Of Our Lives)
