    Cy Nicklin is an English vocalist, guitarist, composer, actor and producer, born in Shepherd's Bush, West London 21 April 1944. He moved to Denmark in 1963 and formed the folk trio Cy, Maia & Robert with Danish Maia Aarskov and French Robert Lelievre in 1965 that toured Denmark with Paul Simon and opened for Donovan the same year. After their breakup in december 1967 he was a member of the original lineup of Day Of Phoenix, and from late 1969 in Culpeper's Orchard. He also wrote music for a couple of movies and TV shows that he also appeared in.


    From 1980 he was a sound engineer and vocalist with Anima. He turned to production activities in the 80s and produced early albums for tv-2 and News. He also worked with The European Jazz Youth Orchestra / the European Jazz Orchestra from 1996 to 2008. Brother of Gary Nicklin.
