Cristina Valentina

Cristina Valentina is a Peruvian singer-songwriter. Her best known style is jazz and its fusion with other rhythms. Cristina studied Human Medicine and worked in a pharmaceutical company, but deep down what she was looking for was to open the door to music. Her classmates knew she sang, but they didn't take her musical side seriously because she didn't sing either. Cristina Leguia, who currently uses "Cristina Valentina" as her stage name, reached the semi-finals of the prestigious International Song- writing Competition, which has a jury of 50 artists, including Tom Waits, Robert Smith, Di-do, Jon Secada, Alejandro Sanz and Chayanne.
