Alter ego of San Diego, California surf punk band The Creepy Creeps. As Creepxotica, they reinterpret their songs in the style of 1960s instrumental exotica music. As in The Creepy Creeps, the band members wear matching masks and outfits and go by pseudonyms. The group consists of keyboardist Dylan Scharf (aka "Dr. Creepenstein"), guitarist Dave Warshaw ("The Creepture"), bassist Aaron Zepeda ("Dia de los Creep"), drummer Kevin Ross ("Creepula"), and saxophonist/percussionist Scott Jones ("Creepanzee").
Creepxotica first released a self-titled EP in 2011, followed by the album Haunted Bossa Nova (2013). In 2017 they simultaneously released their second album, Swinging Sounds From Beyond The Nether Regions, and the EP Creepxotica Featuring Rachel DeShon, on which they collaborated with singer Rachel DeShon on three Yma Sumac covers and two original songs. All of these releases were on Dionysus Records. Their third full-length, The Legend Of Chico Baker, was released in 2023 on their own imprint, Creep-O-Fonik Sounds.
