New York area bar band of the 1970s, formerly known as Salt N' Pepper, who are historically notable for two reasons. Firstly this was an early act of drummer Paul Caravello (bka Eric Carr of Kiss), and secondly, Creation was involved in the notorious Gulliver's nightclub fire on 30 June 1974 in Port Chester, NY. In this tragedy which affected national fire code regulations, 24 people died when a fire adjacent to the club on the NY/CT border filled the recessed dance floor and stage with smoke within seconds, and the nightclub did not have sprinklers or fire detection equipment. Two members of the band, keyboardist Damon DeFeis (brother of David DeFeis and Doreen De Feis) and vocalist George D. Chase, were among the victims.
