Saxophonist, composer, music teacher and director of the legendary Kashmere Stage Band. One of Houston's greatest Jazz educators, had played in local jazz/rhythm and blues groups in the late 40's/early 50's with recordings on Freedom Recording Co., Eddie’s Records and Gold Star (2), notably with Goree Carter and L.C. Williams.
