Compay Quinto

Peruvian band founded in 1967 by guitarist [a=Pancho Acosta], vocalist Pepe Baroni, and bassist [a=Carlos Hayre]. They played Cuban music with electric guitars, developing the unique Peruvian electric guitar sound that led to the birth of Peruvian psychedelic cumbia and "chicha".
