The Clann Lir ensemble is a side project of the leaders of famous Moscow folk groups: singer Helavisa from "Melnitsa", piper Vladimir Lazerson from "Tintal", singer Yuri Andreichuk from " the War of Sids", and composer and keyboardist Konstantin Vyshinsky . Unlike the main groups of participants, Clann Lir does not perform their own compositions in the style of folk music or folk rock, but folk Celtic songs in traditional processing. The group's repertoire consists of songs in the languages ​​of the Celtic peoples (Irish, Scottish, Welsh) and secular Irish music of the 18th century. The name of the group is translated from the Irish language as "Children of Lear" or "Family of Lear" and refers to the old Irish legend about the children of Lear.
