Christianne Neves

Christianne Neves is a pianist, composer, arranger and musical director. He joined the Heartbreakers Orchestra (1994 to 2000) and Havana Brasil (2000 to 2009). He recorded three copyright cds being: Refuge (2000), Two Madrugadas (2005), Eyin Okan (2011) and 4a. Andata and Ritorno (2105). He performed with several Brazilian artists and toured Europe in particular in Scotland, where he presented his first cd with a trio at the Jazz Now! In 2000 and more recently at the Festival of Lapataia - Punta del Este - Uruguay (2008). She is currently the Musical Director and Pianist for singer and composer Fernanda Porto. She has performed four European tours with Fernanda Porto presenting the show in the DUO format (2006, 2011, 2012, 2013), passing through countries such as Portugal, England, Italy and more recently in Finland, also presenting a Solo Piano Concerto in Vantaa at Frutas Festival Tropicales (March 2013). Made Musical Direction and participated in the DVD Fernanda Porto Live recorded in 2006 in Tom Brasil with more than 20 musicians on stage. In 2013, he performed a Concerto in Duo with Fernanda Porto. He has performed regularly on piano solo and with musicians from Italy in several concerts besides teaching Masterclass on Brazilian Music in Italy (Palermo, Sicily - 2013 to 2016, Music Academy di Bari - 2016, Scuola Centrottava, Rome - 2014, 2016; Faenza, 2014, 2015). He performed the concert with his Italian trio at NOMOS JAZZ FESTIVAL in Castellamare del Golfo, Sicily (Leny Andrade's opening show); Palermo Jazz Club in Palermo Sicilia, 2015; Auditorium of Rai, Palermo, 2014, Teatro della Gabartella, Rome, 2016 with Susanna Stivali, Boisdale, Canary Wharf, London, 2016 with Luna Cohen and quartet) among others.
