Multi-talented New York based visual artist and art director who worked at West Side Latino Records and West Side Latino Records in the 70's. He also collaborated with the photographer Ron Warwell and provided photography and graphics for various US record companies.
Chico is also known as an author: liner notes for LPs; interviews and columns at Latin Beat Magazine) and a broadcaster, hosting a show called New World Gallery at WBAI 99.5 New York.
He is also a latin/jazz singer, percussionist and band leader with his own conjunto Mafimba and as the conductor of The Palomonte Afro-Cuban Big Band.
