In 1987 Charlotte began singing with the local dance band Bengt-Ingvars in Hovmantorp, which became Bengt-Ingvars with Charlotte, after which she moved to Växjö for further education, where she was a singer in the dance band Kendix from 1992 and in the dance band Anders Engberg's 1994-1997. In 1997, she left the band to become a singer in another dance band, Wizex. Later in 1999 she left Wizex for solo career.
