Charles Spaak

Belgian screenwriter and director born May 25, 1903 in Saint-Gilles (Bruxelles), Belgium. Brother of [a2080832], father of [a319969] and [i]Agnès Spaak[/i], he landed in France in late 1920's. With [a583803], he's one of the most important screenwriters of 1930's and 1940's French cinema. Dead March 4, 1975 in Nice, France.
