Cecil Day Lewis
Anglo-Irish poet, born 27 April 1904 in Ballintubbert, Queen's County (now County Laois), Ireland, died 22 May 1972 in Hadley Wood, Hertfordshire, England, UK. He was married to Jill Balcon and is the father of Daniel Day-Lewis.
