Cazzi Opeia

Swedish singer and songwriter, born on November 10, 1988 in Eksjö, Småland.

Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker grew up in a family with many creative and musically interested people. Her father, Bengt-Evert Carlebecker, is a music teacher, now retired, and her mother, Anna Forssell, is a drummer – something that resulted with a hullabaloo in her childhood home. Carlebecker's maternal uncle is the late actor Johannes Brost and, between 1994 and 2001, seven-time Olympian in the 50-meter pistol Ragnar Skanåker was her stepfather, when her mother had remarried.

Cazzi Opeia has had Billboard number ones and written songs for, for example, BTS and Red Velvet. In 2021, she was awarded 'Musikförläggarnas pris' (the Music Publishers' Prize), in the category International Success of the Year. She has had great success in the K-pop world and has written music for NCT, Twice, Enhypen and TXT, among others.

Songwriter and artist Cazzi Opeia a.k.a. Moa Anna Maria Carlebecker was awarded undefined's Platinum Guitar 2023 award, for her ingenious pop melodies that reached number one in both the undefined and on the Billboard (5) Hot 100, and made her something of a legend in K-pop.

Cazzi Opeia has also toured as a vocalist with Female DJ Revolution, which is a collective of Scandinavia's leading female DJs and club vocalists.
