Discovered via the CQFD springboard of the Inrockuptibles in 2008, Alexandre Longo, alias Cascadeur, is a French singer-songwriter particularly recognizable by his stage character wearing a Mexican wrestler mask or a pilot helmet, and a jumpsuit. Raised in a family of musicians, he starts playing piano and vocals fairly quickly and starts writing his own songs, naturally leading to his first album, The Human Octopus. His successor, Ghost Surfer, released in 2013, offers a new delivery of pop planante and sung almost entirely in English, benefiting from interventions of international artists like Stuart Staples or Tigran Hamasyan.
