Carlos Santos was born in 1967 in Lisbon, Portugal. Uses computer (Max/MSP), microphones, piezo-elements, electronics and modular synths in electroacoustic improvised sets or concrete/acusmatic diffusion. Field recording, audiovisual and radio pieces. Started sound/music practises in 1990 with the Vitriol project along with Paulo Raposo. Workshops and classes in sound art and field recording practice, electro-acoustic composition and maxmsp programming. Works also as a graphic designer, responsible for the Creative Sources record label visuals.
