American doo-wop lead vocals, in 1955 founded the band "The Coasters", until his retired in 2005. Carl worked also with the group : "The Robins" (pre-Coasters). Born : April 29, 1928 in Tyler, Texas. Died : June 12, 2011 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
