Canidas was Karolina Brobäck (vocals), Adam Magnusson (guitar), Ola Håkansson (bass) and David Augustsson (drums). The band was formed in 1997 in Gothenburg by the initial three members Hakansson, Augustsson and Magnusson. They had played in a Heavy Metal band before and were now finding themselves musically going into a new direction. After some time they were joined by the former punk-vocalist Karolina Brobäck. Unfortunately, the band has split, and their discography just includes their debut.
