Raffaello Canu, aka Cano, has his roots in the Milan of the 70s. Simultaneously with the artistic studies and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Cano joins a flourishing "writer" activity, together with the historic Milanese 16K crew. Protagonist, in the 90s, of the artistic-musical ferment that gravitates around the famous "Muretto" of San Babila, Caneda knows those who will become the greatest exponents of today's local rap. The transition from walls and trains to canvases was progressive and inevitable. For what is not a pose but a sincere artistic explosion, the activity of writer no longer allowed Cano to express himself at his best. Today he exhibits his collections at the PAC in Milan as at the Recoleta Cultural Centre in Buenos Aires in Brazil. In his artistic and musical expression, he abandons the Cano tag and wears the pseudonym Caneda. Subsequently, together with Guè Pequeno, the clothing line "Recession Clothing" opens.
