Bunnyranch was a Portuguese garage rock band from Coimbra, formed inn 2001 by Carlos "[a=Kaló]" Mendes on vocals and drums, André Ferrão on guitar, Filipe Costa on keys and Pedro Calhau one bass, the group name is a reference to a famous brothel in the United States, they released their first record in 2002, a 7 track EP called "Too Flop To Boogie", in 2004 they released the album "Trying To Lose", issue once again by Lux Records, in 2006 Filipe Costa leaves the band and is replaced by João Cardoso, their second album "Luna Dance" is also released that year, it was recorded and produced with [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/755178]Flak[/url] and issued by Transformadores, in 2008 they released "Teach Us Lord...How To Wait" an album divided into two EP's, with the first part "Teach Us Lord" produced and recorded in New York by [a=Ivan Julian], during their 2007 tour, while the 2nd part "How To Wait" being produced in Monchique by Boz Boorer, André Ferrão leaves the group shortly after and is replaced by Augusto Cardoso, in 2010 they released their 4th and final album "If You Missed The Last Train..." once again produced by Boz Boorer at Sierra Vista Studios, in the beginning of 2011 the group announced the postponement of a Portuguese and European tour due to personal differences between the group members which lead to the disbandment of the group that year.
