Brian Finnegan is a flautist and whistle player from Armagh, Northern Island. He started out with the Irish folk group Upstairs In A Tent. In 1993 he released his first solo album, "When the Party's Over".
Finnegan is probably best known as a member of the group Flook from 1995 until 2009. Since then he has resumed his solo career, releasing the album "The Ravishing Genius of Bones" in 2010.
