Guitarist/bassist for a host of seminal punk rock bands including Minor Threat, Government Issue, The Meatmen, Dag Nasty, Doggy Style, and more recently, Bad Religion. He was also in a short lived hard rock band called Pavement after the breakup of Dag Nasty. Most of the groups he was in eventually disbanded. However, he left the Meatmen to form Dag Nasty in 1985.
