Slovenian electronic and rock music group, created in Ljubljana (at the time in Yugoslavia) in 1982. Borghesia created its aesthetics using the imagery of what was prohibited, taboo or repressed. They are chief instigators in the Electronic Body Music genre. The band halted in 1995 but was reformed in 2009.
