Boldwood

BOLDWOOD play English folk music from the 17th and 18th century. Making no attempt at authentic performance, but instead focusing on the energy and joyful nature of the tunes, Boldwood are Becky Price (piano accordion), Helen O'Hara (violin), Daniel Wolverson (violin / viola) and Kate Moran (violin / viola). Since the release of their first album 'Feet Don't Fail Me Now' in 2007, Boldwood have been at the forefront of research into music from little known collections and sources including manuscripts, notebooks and dance fans. Equally happy in concert or playing for dancing, they have appeared at festivals and concert series in England and France.
