US soul group from Montgomery, AL, reformed in 1961. Originally formed in 1952 in Fort Benning, GA. The Rhythm Aces supported singers like Etta James, Kim Weston, Wilson Pickett, Sam Cooke and Otis Redding Members: Bobby Moore (tenor sax), Larry Moore (alto sax), Chico Jenkins (vocals, guitar), Marion Sledge (guitar), Joe Frank (bass), Clifford Laws (organ) and John Baldwin Jnr (drums). Chuck Strong replaced Jenkins as lead vocalist in 1976 and was lead singer on Dedication Of Love album.
