Blues-Soul singer Bobby Jones aka Bobby Jonz is known for known for quirky answer songs and laid back reinterpretations of songs made famous by other artists. Born in a little town called Farmerville, Louisiana, in 1936. He moved to Chicago in 1959. There He started working at Republic Steel, a local steel mill, by day and in time and began working as a singer at Peppers Lounge, a small but important Soul and Blues nightclub. He eventually replaced future Blues Great Little Junior Well in the Peppers lineup. Peppers hired him to sing with the Blues band, the Four Aces. Jones' first solo album entitled Thought You Were Loving Me wasn't released until 1982.
