A death metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 1998. Bloodbath was initially a fun side-project founded by Dan Swanö, Anders Nyström, Jonas Renkse and Mikael Åkerfeldt, who started playing and writing songs influenced by the Swedish and American death metal scene of the late 1980's/early 1990's.
