African-American vocal group that recorded for Columbia, Victor and Vocalion 1926-1930, alternatively in Atlanta, Georgia, and New York City. "It has been suggested that the Regal session of 9 August 1928 by [a=Dixie Jubilee Singers] sounds very much like the Birmingham Jubilee Singers." "The artist credit Birmingham Jubilee Singers was also used on Supertone for the [a=Dunham Jubilee Singers] and on one side of Supertone 9532 for [a=Dye's Sacred Harp Singers], a white gospel group."
