Best known for his gay-themed musical "Boy Meets Boy," co-written with Donald Ward. He wrote many other musicals like "The Great American Backstage Musical" and several children's musicals like "The Cat in the Castle" and "The Three Magic Mushrooms." A prolific songwriter, he sang many in his cabaret acts, which were often performed at "Don't Tell Mama" on 46th St. in NYC. There are 8 CDs of his songs: The World’s in Rhyme, Sing Me, Let Me Give You a Lift, I Could Fall in Love, This is One of My Good Days, Gay Friendly 1 & 2 and The Cat in the Castle. Still writing almost to the end in his apartment on Restaurant Row in NYC, Bill died on Aprill 8, 2020 at 89
