Big Lost Rainbow

The first incarnation of the band materialized in 1970 in Pomfret, Connecticut. In 1973 they relocated to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where they began rehearsing, eventually deciding to record a demo. It was recorded in Maryland in the late summer of 1973 and finally, with additional material recorded in New Haven, became an album. The 1st pressing was 200 copies. In the same year it was re-mixed and re-pressed two more time. After two years of touring and no interest about a 2nd album from a record label, they disbanded in 1975. Howewer, since then, the members have stayed in touc, and in 1992 held a reunion in Idaho.
