Phil Creswick (Philip Creswick), Mark Gillespie and Jason John (Jason Herbert) were the original members of Big Fun. When Jason John left the group, Phil and Mark continued as Big Fun II.
That said, since the original Big Fun never released their debut album ("Pocketful Of Dreams") nor their singles in the United States, the decision was made to change their name from Big Fun II to simply Big Fun for the American Market. Therefore, for the U.S. release of Stomp, Big Fun is an Artist Name Variation of Big Fun II.
