Died December 22, 1982 (age of 64) in Toluca Lake, California.
She was married to saxophonist Charlie Barnet in 1953 for a short time--one of his eleven marriages.
She was known as 'The Irish Senorita' because she was Irish but had popular success singing Spanish songs. She sang with Xavier Cugat and His Orchestra in the 1940s and Buddy Morrow and His Orchestra in the 1950s. Besides English, she could sing in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and Yiddish.
