Italian composer, conductor, arranger and bassist (October 13, 1928 - January 29, 2002). Born in Cagliari as the younger brother of [a=Franco Pisano], he began his career as a jazz musician playing the bass, first in Quintetto Aster and later in [a=Orchestra Gli Asternovas]. Songwriter for [a=Edda Dell'Orso] and [a=Mina (3)], he has composed (or direct) the music for more than 50 scores for film and television. He often signed with the pseudonym Burt Rexon.
