US soul singer born in North Philadelphia, PA. Often associated with producer Joe Stevenson. He sung tenor in the original line up of the The Blue Notes from 1954 along with Harold Melvin. In the mid 60s he left the band and formed The Original Blue Notes. He died on Dec. 26, 2010, he was 64.
