    Married to actor Ben Lyon (1930-1971, her death). Mother of singer/actress Barbara Lyon & via adoption of actor/singer Richard Lyon.
    Daniels started her career as a child actress in silent films and featured in numerous films in the 1920's and 1930's. In 1933, she moved to the UK with her husband, Ben Lyon, where they enjoyed a successful career performing on radio shows for the BBC. As both of he and his wife's movie careers started to decline, the talented duo decided to work up a husband-and-wife music hall and vaudeville act. They became a hit at the London Palladium. They starred in the radio series Hi, Gang!, which ran from 1940 to 1949. She also wrote for the show and went on to write for and/or produced the next shows featuring her and her husband Family Affair (1954), The Lions Abroad (1955) Life with the Lyons (1955-60).
