American blues band (originally the Southside Blues Band ) from Los Angeles, CA, formed in 1968 by Buddy Reed, Dick Innes, Gregg Schaefer, J.D. Nicholson, Jerry Smith and Rod Piazza. The group released two albums the immediately following years and finally split in the early 70's. Their music is totally devoted to electric Chicago blues sound.
