Aterrizaje Forzoso

Originally from Valdivia, Germán Céspedes, Jaime Fainberg, Fernando Fainberg, and Rodrigo Leiva, aka Aterrizaje Forzoso, took the Chilean "Rock Latino" scene from the 80's by surprise. Fans of the symphonic sound of Yes, Alan Parsons and Genesis, these sound engineers embellished the musical arena with a mild pop-rock, love lyrics and a regional sound. As the local rock scene was extensively mounting in popularity, EMI recruits the band and releases their only two albums under its multinational umbrella: Aterrizaje Forzoso (Sólo Un Sueño) in 1986 and Loca Confusión in 1987. Unfortunately, shortly after the inevitable demise of the local scene, Aterrizaje Forzoso disbands in 1989, leaving one full album without official release.
