Born on September 1, 1958 in Porvoo, Finland. Everything started when Armi Aavikko was chosen as Miss Finland in February 1977. A part of the duties of the new Miss Finland was to work as a show host for [a=Danny (13)]'s show, helping them to find the new Miss Finland. When Danny and his team found out that she can sing, they decided to release a duet, and the single "Tahdon olla sulle hyvin hellä" came out in April 1977. The single was a big success. Danny & Armi released two albums together, and after that Armi released a solo album in 1981, and another in 1993, under the name "Armi & Lemmikit".
She worked together with Danny for 18 years. Even though they only released two albums together, she still continued working on the "Danny & Armi -show" until 1995, when she decided to concentrate on her personal problems. She died at the age of 43, on January 2, 2002 in Espoo, Finland.
