Armandinho E O Trio Elétrico Dodô & Osmar

Brazilian band formed in 1974 by the four sons of Osmar Macêdo, one of the creators of trio elétrico (a special type of truck with high sound capacity) along with Dodô.

Their first release - Jubileu De Prata, 1974 - was released under the moniker Trio Elétrico Dodô & Osmar, to pay homage to the two creators of trio elétrico. After their debut, the brothers decided to change the band name to include Armandinho in it because the three other brothers thought he deserved recognition, as he had become a national success, performing live in 1969 on now defunct Brazilian TV channel TV Tupi.
