Arktika

Arktika (now disbanded), founded 2008, is a post-rock-band from Cologne, Germany. Their sound can be described as post-rock, post-core or sludge. They have played shows with bands like Envy, This Will Destroy You and Caspian. Arktika was named after the russian icebreaker class, the Arktika-class. They played their farewell show on July 20th, 2013.
