Moroccan/Dutch MC from Amsterdam. It’s summer 1995 when Appa comes in touch with rap music. At first, he was more interested in Moroccan music and trance. But when he listens to All Eyez On Me from Tupac, he just knew this was what he needed. At that time, Extince is very popular in the Netherlands. But Appa wasn’t interested in dutch hip hop until 2002. That’s when he started to write his first lines and recorded some freestyles. Since then, the young Moroccan and his microphone are inseparable. He record his first song with Kenna of THC, the song is called Je Bakt Er Niks Van. The song spreads through the country and the THC crew realizes that Appa gives their songs that little extra. So Appa joins THC! They start concentrating on their debut album, Artikel 104. Appa notices that this rap music is no longer a hobby, it’s his passion. He has only on target: to use his pen, his voice, as a weapon. In November 2005 Appa leaves THC, but 2 months later he’s already working hard on his solo career.
