Apati

Apati was a depressive black metal / post rock band formed in Västerås. In the fall of 2007, Apati was concieved by C9H13N and Obehag, more or less as a ventilation for all the feelings possesing their chests. A friend of their's, Professor X, who shared the same thoughts and feelings, later joined the band. The three of them started to write music, but something were still missing. So in the spring, another friend of their's, Patient C, was introduced with the music created, and decided to join forces with Apati. Now the band were complete, for a short while, until Professor X disappeared, and C9H13N escaped Sweden. Professor X was kicked out of the band, but C9H13N stayed, and returned to Sweden one year later. After recording the first album they contacted a good man named Håkan who is running a great label called Total Holocaust Records. Håkan took the three boys under his wings and a great journey were to begin. Patient C (Christian Larsson) left the band November 4th 2010 due to lack of time for the band and he joined Shining. Professor X returned then under the name "X". On the 7th of July 2011, Obehag left the band due to personal disagreements and X and C9H13N chose to disband Apati. In the early morning of 23rd of July 2011, Obehag passed away from an overdose and the former band members were in grief when they went to his funeral.
