Antonio Cortis

Spanish tenor born in Denia, Alicante, Spain, on August 12th, 1891. Died on Valencia, Spain on April 16th, 1952. In 1924 he has his american debut as protagonist at the Chicago Civic Opera with major success, until his last performance in 1951 in Zaragoza interpretating Puccini's acclaimed opera Tosca.
