Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys

The name of the band in English means "The Antique Teeth of Kashpirovsky". Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys named their music style as "smagis" (Lithuanian word for "fun", "merry"). The audience gets everything from Baltic, Balkan, Latino pop, mariachi, post-punk and heart-wrenching ballads to psychedelic reprises. Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys sees their concerts as a small and happy therapy, where people of different backgrounds can come together and celebrate without problems. The band has won 4 Lithuanian M.A.M.A. music awards – breakthrough of the year in 2016 and three video of the year awards in 2016 for Į Venesuelą (To Venezuela), 2018 for Indai ("Dishes") and 2019 for Daug Dienų ("Many Days"). Also the third place at Silk Road Indie Music festival in Ningbo, China in 2017. Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys has formed as a four-piece band in 2006 and emerged from alternative music scene. The real breakthrough happened in 2015 when the band started to work with M.P.3 record label and released their debut album named after the band. The release was promoted with the single Į Venesuelą, which was also accompanied by the catchy music video and gained some attention in Venezuela as well. This song became the signature song of the band. In 2017 the band released the follow-up album Problematika, the lead single Indai and became six-piece. They have toured in Lithuania, Baltic countries, Balkans, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and China, playing over 80 concerts every year and performed at various festivals: Granatos Live (Rumšiškės, Lithuania), Koktebel Jazz Festival (Chernomorsk, Ukraine), Tallinn Music Week (Tallinn, Estonia), Stereoleto (Saint Petersburg, Russia), PIN (Skopje, Macedonia) and others. The first single from the upcoming third album in early 2019 became Mažulė (“Babe"), which was dedicated to all the car-lovers and their babes. With this song the band participated at Lithuanian national Eurovision selection, progressed all the way to the final eventually winning the third place. The song became one of the biggest and most recognizable Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys hits.
