    American 1960's pop singer, author and acting coach. Born October 3rd, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio. She and her husband own the Weist-Barron-Hill acting school in Burbank, California. Andrea Hill published "Making It In The Business" in 2001, a book of guidance for people seeking to enter the entertainment industry. She is a therapist and drama coach: Andrea Hill Ph.D., MFT. She charted once in 1963, hitting #45 in the U.S. with "It Hurts to Be Sixteen". The song was written as an answer song to Neil Sedaka's hit "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen". Carroll's recording featured the Chiffons on uncredited backing vocals.
