Used for their early-1990's album Structural Chaos and their more recent releases [r=44376] (2002), Jazz (2005) and The Lady And Mr. Johnson (2008). The later psychedelic releases generally add a 'The' to the name to differentiate from the '90s electronic material.
The liner notes for FSOL's album Exemption Song E.P. make mention of an Amorphous Androgynous album with a plain black cover called Uncle Josh's Troubles In A Hotel / Uncle Josh At The Circus, which after 14 years of mystery was finally released under the FSOL name.
